Courier driver (PART-TIME)

Instabox Luleå needs to strengthen its workforce and is currently seeking skilled terminal workers for its terminal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a terminal worker/ courier driver, you will work at Instabox's terminal where thousands of packages arrive to be reloaded, sorted, and sent out for delivery. The work involves both mechanical and manual sorting to varying degrees, depending on where you are working.You will also deliver parcels with car. Your responsibility is to ensure that operations continue without obstacles by carefully ensuring that goods enter and exit the terminal according to schedule. The job is suitable for those who are studying at least 50%, or alternatively, have another job of at least 50%.

NOTE! Please be aware that in this position, you will also need to handle boxes containing alcohol.

As a terminal worker, you thrive in a fast-paced, responsible, and challenging environment. The work involves many physically demanding tasks and is done at a high pace, so good physical fitness is a requirement. Proficiency in handling IT tools is also a valuable skill. Being perceived as positive and professional is important—Instabox expects excellent service and high quality. As a person, you are punctual, meticulous, and create a positive atmosphere around you. You are a natural problem solver and enjoy challenges.

WORKING HOURS

You are expected to work approximately 3 days per week, Monday to Friday. Working hours may vary but are usually from 06:00-10:00 or 15:30-22:30. 

NOTE! You need to have access to a car to get to the terminal.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • B-driver's license
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Strong computer skills
  • A strong team player
  • Good physical fitness
  • Good language skills in Swedish or English (written and verbal)
  • You are a student or have another occupation (another job) of at least 50%
  • Background check – Zero tolerance for a criminal record

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Experience in similar work

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

The position is a temporary employment (part-time as needed).
